Privacy Policy
Listen up. You’re on bobelanes.com. If you’re here, you’re probably looking for a lane or trying to see what we’re up to. I don’t have time for fancy legal talk, so here is the deal on your data. I’m only going to say this once.
- What We Take From You: If you send us an email or sign up for something, we get your name and your email address. If you call Justin, he might write down your phone number. We aren’t spies; we just need to know who to talk to when you ask a question.
- Cookies: The website uses “cookies.” They are little bits of data that help the site remember you so it doesn’t break every time you click a button. If you don’t like ’em, turn them off in your browser settings. Don’t come complaining to me if the site runs slow afterward.
- We Don’t Sell Your Stuff: I’ve got enough to do running a bowling alley in Milwaukee. I’m not in the business of selling your email address to some telemarketer in a different time zone. Your info stays here.
- Kids Bowl Free: If you sign up for Kids Bowl Free, you’re giving them your info. They have their own rules. Once you leave our page to go to theirs, you’re on their clock, not mine.
- Your Rights: If you want us to delete your email or stop sending you stuff, just tell us. We’ll wipe it out. I’ve got better things to do than talk to people who don’t want to be talked to.
Terms of Service
By sticking around this website, you’re agreeing to my rules. If you don’t like ‘em, there’s the door (or the ‘X’ in the corner of your browser).
- Use the Site Right: Don’t try to hack the site. Don’t scrape our data. Don’t pretend to be me or Justin. If you break the website, you’re paying for the IT guy to fix it. I’m not kidding.
- Accuracy: I try to keep the hours and the beer list updated, but things change. If the website says we have a specific craft beer and we ran out ten minutes ago because a league team got thirsty, don’t yell at the bartender. We do our best, but we aren’t psychics.
- Links: We link to Kids Bowl Free because it’s a good deal for you. Once you click that link, you’re on their turf. If their site crashes or they send you too many emails, that’s between you and them.
- Our Property: The photos of the lanes, the “Bob” character, and our logo belong to us. Don’t go stealing our graphics to start your own bowling alley down the street. Get your own artist.
- Liability: If you trip over your own feet while looking at this website on your phone, that’s on you. We aren’t responsible for any “damages” caused by you browsing the internet. Stay alert.
Bottom Line: We’re here to bowl, not to follow you around the internet. Keep your head in the game and your data to yourself if you’re that worried about it.
